Lucas is the Big 3!!!

On Sept. 16 Lucas turned 3 years old!!!  It is hard to believe he is that old but at the same time it seems like he has always been around.  He is still loving Cars and Cars 2 and so I decided to put Lightening McQueen and Mater on his cake.  We have lots of Matchbox cars and Hotwheels around the house but the only cars he wants to play with are all the character cars we have from the movies. 

I tried out a new technique called the petal technique.  It was pretty easy and it would have been fast but I didn't have enough tips that were the same size and so I had to keep changing out and washing the tip.  Luckily, Guss was willing to help.

 

His birthday fell on a Sunday and so we had his favorite breakfast, eggs and chocolate milk, before church.  After church we had some down time before the missionaries and the VanGiesons came over for dinner. 

 

It is almost impossible to get a group shot without bunny ears on someone.

He got a Dinosaur Leapster game, 2 dinosaurs, 2 new Cars characters, a Mator game and some Cars books.  He was very excited for them all.
